Today is Gran's 95th birthday. 95?! I really cannot even wrap my head around that. But I'm awfully thankful that we get to celebrate another birthday with her. Her resilience amazes me. Her desire to go to the beauty parlor so that she can look good for her 95th birthday (even though a week before she was headed to the hospital) humors me. And the love that she extends to all of us overwhelms me. Love you, Gran...hope it's the beginning of some wonderful days - full of comfort and peace and love, love, love...never-ending love.
