It's that time of year. Graduation. The wrapping up of things at school. The retirement of dear friends and colleagues. The moving on of other friends and colleagues and our wonderful seniors. And so I'm thinking about movement. And changes. And farewells. And new beginnings. My heart is full of gratitude for my advisees this past year and for all of the friendships that my colleagues have provided over the years. May the changes in the months and years ahead continue to give us opportunities to come together, to never be alone, even if the miles separate us. Thus...this quotation for today. "Everything changes. And when we can remember that during the low times, our hearts can fill with hope. And when we can tell each other this in the good times, our hearts can fill with gratitude. No matter what, we can be gentle, we can be kind. And we can remember, that even in this, we are never, ever alone."
