You. Can. Do. It.
Believe. That carries the energy to believe you can do anything you set your mind to.
"Life is only meaningful when we are striving for a goal." (Aristotle)
"It's not what you do but how you do it." (John Wooden)
Run, etg, run!
Keep smiling, even when you'd rather not, because you are doing something amazing...something that very few people will ever even contemplate doing. I will keep my fingers crossed that race day is one of those perfect exercise days where everything internally and externally just comes together perfectly.
Go, girl...go, girl...I'm so very excited for you and will have you in my prayers as you participate in this adventure of endurance, courage, and trust.
It's okay to fail. It's not okay to fold.
Success if 97% preparation and 3% execution.
If we are persistent enough, we can do the dreams.
On the other side of fear is freedom.
Thanks for the links to your crazy adventure this weekend. Be careful and good luck!
To serve, to strive, and not to yield.
If not in this lifetime, in which one?
I'll put your name on a prayer flag and hang it out - like your students did for me. It'll lift you up and carry you through the rough places.
Don't go out too fast!
And so many sweet, sweet notes from family and friends that are too personal to put on a blog. But one wonderful image from Gran (who does not normally talk like this): "Elizabeth, I will be thinking of you and your coming race. No, those are not angels on your shoulders - just Mommy and Gran."
You all are wonderful. You will be with me every step of the way. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for your love.
