"Miss Guice, why do you always make us do the right thing?" - asked by one of my advisees as I was gently nudging them out the door to a class meeting that they didn't want to attend. All I had was a total "mom" answer, "Because that's my job. You need to try to do the right thing." And I left it at that. Couldn't get all philosophical with teenagers on a Friday morning!
